This gorgeous lady has the 'look' many alpaca breeders are drawn to: compact conformation, short and expressive face and amazing coverage. Lexia has really, really bright, fine fiber and an amazing staple length and a beautiful crimp. This girl is full of fiber!
We love her dam because no matter who she is bred to, she gives you the 'perfect' looking alpaca and I'm sure this trait Lexia will possess when she is bred and produces offspring.
Lexia's grandsire on her dam's side is HVLA BlackJack, a multi champ/blue ribboned black. On her dam's side she has a lot of black lines. Her sire is blue ribboned modern rose grey male, Benchmark's Coyo Destino by Yago, who was sired by the very beautiful, multi champ Breton Knoll's Yago. On Lexia's sire's side there are many champion lines throughout. Lexia could fit into many different types of breeding programs, she has much potential that could go in many directions.
Lexia does have a white spot on her right eye that will always be there due to an injury/ulcer as a cria that healed but left a scar. Her eye sight is not affected by this and obviously it isn't anything inhibiting her from breeding.
